Thoughts from the hay field (part 2)

(This was originally heading in a different direction, this ‘part 2’…
But I needed to write my heart today…)

Good crop.  All packaged in little square bundles, now useful. The harvest. Hard work.

My heart is so heavy when thinking of the world’s HARVEST.  The ripe fields. Waiting in the dark.

“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.  Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.”  Luke 10:2,3

They think we are fools, for accepting the Spirit of God, and following Him. His Word. Christ.

“…No one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”                                                  1 Cor 2:11-14

It brings me to tears. The world needs light. Truth revealed. We all have ONE chance to believe, because one minute after you die… your fate is sealed.

I feel so useless. No impact.

But I can pray. You can pray. For the harvest. For the laborers.

For more to be sent.

For more to be reached in Love.

  1. It’s often heartbreaking when we do our best to voice ‘the truth’ without much returned enthusiasm or response. The tough part is leaving it alone as once we did our part, they have the option to believe or not – to grow spiritually or not.
Forever keep the faith my dear friend.

    • Yup, Cher—- there is not much we can do to change a person’s heart. That is their choice…exactly how God made us. We are not puppets, we have that free will to choose Him or not. He is my foundation, even though I ‘blow it’ with my humanness. And heaven is my real Home. 🙂
Won’t it be great to finally BELONG somewhere?!!!
