June Fields (part one)

A quick spin around the fields this morning reveal the June burst of color… and so many scents that change as I round each corner.  Inhale. Exhale. Aware. Morning light that lures each flower head toward it.

This scene will change tomorrow, as the farmers line up with their baling tractors. Simply the natural change of seasons.

WHY do I balk so hard at change, when I KNOW that the sweet scent of mown hay is only experienced with the cutting?

Days, Hours, Moments…

Time.  What a mysterious thing.  We dwell on yesterday, fret about tomorrow, and often totally miss today!

Miss these moments that we have right NOW. Right HERE. All Gifts.

God is present all around us, if we really SEE.

(My highway C needs to  transform to SEE!)

His promises are ours to claim…and trust.

I need to be filled with His Spirit daily… refreshed. And I wish I didn’t leak so bad!  I’m like a sieve.

All He wants from us is to be present with Him. Through the good and the valleys.  Every day.  Each moment.  Because He is already present with us!

I speak to you continually. My nature is to communicate, though not always in words. I fling glorious sunsets across the sky, day after day after day. I speak in the faces and voices of loved ones. I caress you with a gentle breeze that refreshes and delights you. I speak softly in the depths of your spirit, where I have taken up residence.

You can find Me in each moment, when you have eyes that see and ears that hear. Ask My Spirit to sharpen your spiritual eyesight and hearing. I rejoice each time you discover My presence. Practice looking and listening for Me during quiet intervals. Gradually you will find Me in more and more of your moments. You will seek Me and Find Me, when you seek Me above all else.
